Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 Review

This is a user-based review of Kaspersky 2010 antivirus software, after been tested on my PC and my colleagues. This 2010 version is now compatible with Windows 7 and Vista.

When I install this antivirus, it literally pretty slow and takes nearly 3 minutes to finish up the whole installation process. This 2010 version is probably slower compared with the 2009 release. Anyways, I could give a thumb-up for its lightweight program, with only 18.4MB on my memory, so it won’t bite much of your RAM.

Kaspersky Antivirus 2010, when installed, will add up your reboot time up to 9 seconds longer. It also cause minimal effect on launching other programs and web browsers after installing the program on your PC.

Despite few drawbacks on installation and reboot lagging, Im impressed with it’s ‘Quick Scanning’ feature. Now, it presents you with four different scanning options which are Vulnerability Scan, Quick Scan, Full Scan, and lastly Objects Scan.  Latest special features on 2010 are Game Mode , which helps suspending any scans during your play and suppress any notifications during that period and second, the Kaspersky URL Advisor, which scans and warns you about any potentially dangerous website you’re trying to browse in.

Overall, Kaspersky Antivirus and Threats remover program works like a charm with your Windows 7 and as a user, I’m glad I have bought the full, premium version of it at only $39 dollars. It worth it. Thanks for reading. Don’t forget to try the free trial antivirus too.
